Job Overview Psychiatry Physician Opportunity in Florida Job Opportunity - Psychiatry Physician - Florida Start Date: December 1, 2026 Location: Florida Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. No evening call required. Daytime phone call coverage for admission orders Monday through Friday during business hours only. Highlights: Primarily inpatient psychiatry with weekly Intensive Outpatient Program responsibilities Manageable patient census of 12-15 patients per provider; facility census of 27-30 patients daily Collaborative team environment with 1 physician staff, 2 advanced practice providers, nursing, and social work support Epic EMR system for streamlined documentation Phone call coverage only, 1-2 days per week with 2-5 calls per shift; no ER backup or weekend call One-year contract from December 2026 through December 2027 Requirements: Board Certified in Psychiatry Active State Medical License in Florida required (IMLC not accepted) Standard vaccination requirements Experience with inpatient rounding, admission and discharge orders, and outpatient program assessments preferred Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers an excellent work-life balance with consistent weekday hours and no evening or weekend call.
