Clinical Laboratory Technologist, LaboratoryARMStaffing is looking for a Clinical Laboratory Technologist, Laboratory in Binghamton, New York.Binghamton, NYThis is a 13-week contract position.Sunday is 7pm-8am, Monday thru Wednesday is 11pm to 8am; 40 hours per week.Job DescriptionThe Clinical Laboratory Technologist will perform routine and specialized tests in assigned laboratory sections under limited supervision. This role involves monitoring lab processes, verifying results, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures.ResponsibilitiesPerform clinical analyses for routine, special, and automated tests, recognizing and addressing abnormal values.Document and interpret quality control results, troubleshooting issues as necessary and consulting with supervisors when needed.Verify and post results in the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and ensure proper documentation.Obtain specimens directly from patients and select appropriate equipment for testing.Participate in the training of new employees and students.Evaluate new testing methods and procedures.Act in a supervisory capacity in the absence of the supervisor for staff management and problem resolution.Required ExperienceSix (6) years of experience preferred.Up to three (3) years of direct experience required.Certifications/LicensureNew York State Licensed Clinical Laboratory Technologist.BLS Certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross).About ARMStaffingFounded in 2011 and a member of the ARGroup, LLC, ARMStaffing connects dedicated nurses and allied health professionals with the facilities that need them most.
