Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – New York

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Upstate New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM, 36 or 48 hours per week

Highlights:

• 64-bed Emergency Department serving diverse patient populations from newborn to geriatric
• High-acuity case mix including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• EPIC electronic medical record system
• Specialty equipment experience including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun
• Comprehensive drip protocols including pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, and sedation medications
• Charge nurse capability highly preferred

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license verified through NURSYS
• Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience with pediatric exposure
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Willingness to float to other units as needed
• SANE care provision expected for assigned patients
