As a senior platform DevOps engineer at Booz Allen, you can use your technical skills to affect mission-forward change. On our team, you'll hone your skills using the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your client's environment with current container software to ensure seamless orchestration. Using your DevOps platform experience, you'll support your team as you inform strategy and design while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process.You'll recommend resources that will help your client manage and securely adopt containers. The world can't wait.You Have:5+ years of experience with DevOps Engineering, Network Engineering, and System Administration5+ years of experience with Python, Ansible, or Terraform to build and maintain systems5+ years of experience with Ubuntu Linux Server Management5+ years of experience in the development of tools and processes to drive DevOps or DevSecOps maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring and pushing releases across environmentsExperience with Gitlab, Mattermost, Bookstack, and PostgreSQLExperience configuring Wireguard VPNsExperience with Azure and AWS cloud environments and firewallsExperience developing, managing, and securing containerized solutions using Docker and AzureTop Secret clearanceAssociate's degreeNice If You Have:Experience with creating and improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacksExperience triaging and resolving issues related to both open source and commercial tools in public cloud environmentsExperience working with application development teams across the software development lifecycle and creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environmentTS/SCI clearance with a polygraphCompensation:At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
