Human Resources Assistant (Peoria, Illinois) $22.00-$26.00/hour

About The Role: ELM Utility Services is a leading underground utility locating company with over 1900 employees nationwide. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Human Resources Assistant to join our Human Resources team at our Peoria, Illinois headquarters. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who's ready to build a career in human resources. You'll play a key role in supporting our hiring process from processing pre-employment screenings to setting candidates up for hire in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and good judgment matter. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM What You'll Do: Verify that all pre-employment requests are fulfilled including the ordering of pre-employment checks such as background checks, motor vehicle record checks, and drug screens.
