Job Title: Forklift Driver

1st: M-F 6am-4:30pm

2nd: M-TH - 2:00pm-10:30pm/ Fri. 11:00am – 7:30pm

Join our dynamic team as a Forklift Driver at our state-of-the-art Distribution Center. We are looking for dedicated individuals to load and unload trucks efficiently and maintain high standards of quality control.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift for nearly 90% of the day, loading and unloading trucks.
• Conduct quality control on orders when not operating the forklift.
• Receive products and organize them in the warehouse.
• Consolidate pallets to ensure efficient storage and distribution.

Essential Skills

• 1-2 years of manufacturing or warehouse experience.
• 2-5 years of experience operating sit-down forklifts, whether electric or gas.
• Proficiency in printing shipping labels using UPS/Fed Ex or similar software.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with shipping, receiving, and material handling.
• Familiarity with RF Scanners for inventory management.

Work Environment

Our facility, located in North Chicago, was established in March 2020 with brand new equipment. While employees do not handle chemicals directly, they will be responsible for transporting sealed drums. Enjoy working in a comfortable and modern distribution center.

This is a Contract position based out of North Chicago, IL.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
