To accommodate our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and energetic individual for a civil engineering project management position. This position is ideal for a civil engineer that enjoys working on a team, working with clients, and bringing in work on building and site development, drainage, utility, parks and recreation, roadway, trail and campus development projects. Work will be out of our Collinsville, IL and/or St. Louis, MO offices.Key ResponsibilitiesMeet with clients and potential clients to discuss projectsActively participate in team meetings to work effectively with team membersApply industry-standard practices to complete work on timeDevelop person-hour estimates and proposalsManage scope, schedule, and budgets on multiple projectsPerform and check design calculations, plans, and quantity takeoffsWork collaboratively with clients, engineers, and managers to develop designsDevelop plans and construction documentsDevelop construction cost estimatesReview construction bids to recommend awards and perform construction administrationQualificationsBachelor 's degree in civil engineering - master's degree is a plusPE license5+ years of experience working with both government and private clients in Missouri and IllinoisProficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and MicroStationStrong verbal, writing, and presentation skillsStrong technical skills in one or more of the following areas is a plus: Hydrology and HydraulicsDevelopment Review for MunicipalitiesMulti -Use Path and Park DesignCommercial Site DesignWater and Sewer DesignRoad, Parking Lot, and Pavement DesignWhy Oates Associates?100% employee-owned through an ESOPCollaborative, people-first cultureFlexible schedules and hybrid work opportunitiesCommitment to personal and professional developmentCompensation & BenefitsSalary range: $80,000 - $115,000 annuallyAnnual bonus opportunities100% Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company contributionFlex-time and hybrid work optionsPaid time off, including holidaysHealth and wellness program with incentivesProfessional development support (licensure, training, conferences)Community involvement, company-sponsored events, and team-building activitiesAt Oates Associates, you are not just a number.
