Our firm is seeking an associate-level attorney with at least four years of litigation experience in tort, labor, and employment law to join our team. We expect and value confidence, a sense of humor, creativity, openness to new ideas, and excellent communication skills, particularly with clients.ResponsibilitiesProvide exceptional legal counsel on labor and employment-related matters, which may include, but not limited to, human resources issues, wage and hour law, unemployment and other state agency claims, labor relations, employee benefits, employment agreements, and policy-related issues, employment-related litigation, and grievances.Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clientsIdentifies and assesses legal risks and opportunities within the labor and employment area and advises accordinglyNegotiate settlements for legal disputesEducates clients and stakeholders on legal matters, policies, and proceduresPerform administrative and management functions related to the practice of lawQualificationsMust have a minimum of four (4) years of substantive litigation experienceFamiliarity with various legal documentsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to build rapport with clientsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWe don't just respond to a client's needs.
