Job Description JP Ford is seeking an experienced, results-driven Automotive Sales Manager to lead our sales department. In this key executive leadership role, you will oversee daily showroom operations, mentor and manage our sales team, manage new and pre-owned vehicle inventory, and drive departmental profitability. The ideal candidate is an active manager who excels at closing deals, structuring financing options, managing inventory turnover, and cultivating a positive team culture. Job Type Full-time Schedule Monday through Saturday with a scheduled weekday off Daytime and retail dealership hours No Sundays Pay Competitive base salary paired with lucrative monthly performance commissions and volume bonuses. Work Requirements Experience: Proven track record in automotive sales management, desking deals, or F&I management in a franchise dealership setting. Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required. Tech Literacy: Deep understanding of CRM software, inventory management systems (e.g., vAuto), and DMS platforms. Ability to commute to Blytheville, AR. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Responsibilities Showroom Leadership: Desk deals, work actively on the showroom floor alongside sales consultants, and assist directly in closing customer transactions. Team Development: Recruit, train, coach, and manage a high-performing sales team to achieve monthly volume, gross profit, and customer satisfaction targets. Inventory Control: Monitor new and pre-owned inventory, manage vehicle appraisals, evaluate trade-ins, and oversee merchandising and digital display. Process Oversight: Ensure thorough CRM utilization, lead management, and consistent follow-up processes across the entire sales staff. Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with the Finance (F&I) and Service departments to ensure smooth deal flow, efficient reconditioning, and seamless customer deliveries. CSI Excellence: Maintain high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores by establishing transparent sales practices and resolving customer inquiries promptly. Qualifications Proven ability to desk deals, manage showroom traffic, and coach sales associates effectively. Strong financial acumen and solid understanding of vehicle financing, leasing, and trade appraisals. Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and verbal communication skills. High energy, positive attitude, and strong internal drive to exceed sales goals. High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred).
