Department Description

• Wesson Women's and Infants is a labor and delivery unit.
• Our unit contains 38 patient rooms, three operation rooms and a PACU, three nurses stations, a newborn nursery, and our Welcome Center.
• We perform approximately 4,200 births annually, and we are the only perinatal high risk antepartum unit between Albany NY and Hartford CT.
• We have a level III NICU on site to care for our littlest patients.

Schedule

• Full Time Nights 7 PM- 7 AM
• 30 hours per week; three shifts one week, two shifts the next
• Every other weekend and rotating holidays
• Location: Baystate Medical Center Springfield

Qualifications

• Successfully passed Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and is licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification required.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year RN experience required.
• Education: AND required; BSN preferred.
