Pleasant is offering a $10,000 Sign‑On Bonus for Full‑Time Respiratory Therapist for night shifts. The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for the performance of technical work concerning the administration of therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities. Tasks include operating and monitoring respiratory equipment such as continuous and intermittent ventilators, medical gas delivery apparatus, incentive breathing/hyperinflation devices, environmental control systems, and aerosol devices; administering medical gases, humidification, aerosols, and respiratory medications; maintaining clearance of patients’ natural and artificial airways; providing primary assistance in cardiopulmonary resuscitation; and, if applicable, obtaining blood samples, running blood samples, maintaining the arterial blood gas laboratory, reporting analyte results, and interpreting blood gas data. *10,000 Sign‑On Bonus is offered as per the terms of an Employment Assistance Agreement with a 2‑year minimum commitment.
