Multi Facility Registered Dietician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Naya Healthcare in Cumberland, Maryland. As a key member of our healthcare consulting company, you will be responsible for overseeing food and nutrition services in our Lions Rehab & Frostburg Rehab facilities. Responsibilities:

• Oversee food and nutrition services provided to residents in our facilities, ensuring compliance with policy and regulatory requirements

• Collaborate with the Food and Nutrition Services Manager and clinical staff to develop and implement effective food and nutrition plans

• Conduct assessments and care plans to determine residents' nutritional needs and develop personalized plans to meet those needs

• Develop and implement policies and procedures for food and nutrition services, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations

• Provide education and training to staff on food and nutrition-related topics

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality care and services are provided to residents

Requirements:

• Bachelor's (or master's) degree from a regionally accredited college or university with successful completion of a nationally accredited program in nutrition or dietetics

• Completion of at least 900 hours of dietetics practice supervised by a registered dietitian or nutrition professional

• Licensure or certification as a registered dietitian or nutrition professional

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and other stakeholders

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
