Job TitleGeneral ResponsibilitiesWorks with business partners and regional leadership to expand relationships focusing on the financial needs of all areas of the community while promoting the PSBT brand. Mentors, develops and coaches staff to deliver PSBT mission and values – exceeding customer expectations. Counsels clients, providing needs-based financial solutions. Capable of supporting clients in-person or virtually. Responsible for working as an active member of the branch office sales/service team and providing support related to day-to-day branch operations, administration, and sales.Essential DutiesPerforms various duties relating to the Branch as follows:Utilizes One Bank/One Team/One Brand discipline of collaboration and teamwork in order to achieve bank objectives.Maintains working knowledge of Bank's consumer deposit and loan product offerings as well as business deposit and cash management services.Engages and advises customers in person and/or virtually in order to attract, retain, and grow relationships.Assists clients with deposit account and ancillary service selections in line with their needs, opening them in a timely manner.Counsels clients on consumer financing options. Processes and closes consumer loans.Collaborates with internal partners to connect customers to experts who can help them with specialized financial services including Wealth Management, Cash Management, and Merchant Processing.Leads, coaches, develops, and provides additional training to staff in customer relationship development and support.Professionally represents the bank in the community. Actively engages with the public at events to promote financial literacy and the bank's products and services.Performs outbound sales calling to drive retail business opportunities to the branch and region.Implements strategies to achieve goals developed for the office and region as part of the Retail Banking Division's annual operating plan.Provides branch oversight in conjunction with Assistant Branch Manager in practice of procedures and policies. Keeps up-to-date on changing banking regulations to ensure staff compliance.Capable of assisting with operational duties of the branch, including processing transactional activities as needed.Resolves customer and staff issues with diplomacy.Ancillary DutiesPerforms tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Periodic travel out into the community for various events and initiatives is expected.RequirementsEducation/Training: Associate's or Bachelor's degree generally required.Skill(s): Must demonstrate ability to communicate across various channels (face-to-face, email, video conference, text/chat, social media); good interpersonal relationship skills; strong problem solving skills; able to lead, coach and motivate others; possess a comprehensive knowledge of branch operations and administration; be conversant in consumer and business financial products and services; solid consumer lending skills; proficient in use of various types of technology and software.Experience: A minimum of 5 or more years' experience in a related position normally required.
