FIFA FanFest Catering Coordinator

DESCRIPTION

Position Summary

The Event Organizer / Catering Coordinator oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of FIFA Fan Fest catering operations while leading staff and ensuring events run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise TACO NACO KC staff during Fan Fest events
• Anticipate operational needs and proactively solve issues
• Lead and communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely execution
• Create daily production lists for upcoming events
• Place orders for missing products and supplies
• Attend all event planning meetings and pre-event briefings
• Assist with loading, lifting, and transporting equipment and supplies
• Maintain kitchen organization and operational readiness
• Ensure POS systems and event operations function properly

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience managing or supervising staff required
• Knowledge of kitchen operations and POS systems preferred
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Bilingual in English and Spanish required
• Ability to work under pressure in event environments
