MRI Technologist

This position covers maternity leaves. The role involves performing a wide range of MRI studies including cardiac, breast, and some angiography. An average of 35-40 scans/studies are conducted per day. The department is equipped with three Siemens MRI scanners: Aera 1.5T, Trio 3T, and Espree 1.5T. Radiologist support is available during the day, with a resident on duty at night. The position requires participation in a rotating schedule that includes weekend and holiday shifts. Staffing consists of three 12-hour shifts per week, with varying days. The department uses EPIC for its electronic medical records and is moving to a merge system in June. A one-week flexible training schedule is provided to familiarize new hires with departmental protocols. This role does not require floating to other areas outside of MRI. Candidates must fulfill call requirements every other Thursday and be available for backup when other staff are on leave. The department operates as a Level I trauma center.
