Collaborate with dentists to determine treatments for teeth or gum diseases.We're looking for reliable individuals capable of building trust with patients of all ages, possessing deep knowledge of health and safety rules and a keen eye for oral diseases and anomalies.If you have steady hands and an excellent bedside manner, we want to meet you.ResponsibilitiesEnsure patients are at ease before examinationsProperly sterilize dental instrumentsConduct initial mouth screenings and review oral health historyIdentify conditions like gingivitis, caries, or periodontitisClean and protect patients' teeth (e.g., remove plaque or apply fluoride)Educate patients on proper teeth care, demonstrating good brushing techniquesProvide post-operation instructions to patientsTake X-rays or dental impressionsAssist dentists in selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases, including oral cancerMaintain documentation and charts for each patientMonitor suppliesSkillsRegistered Dental Hygienist LicenseIn-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations (e.g., HIPAA)Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipmentOutstanding communication skillsPatient and friendly personalityAttention to detailStamina to meet the physical demands of the job
