Job Description Job Description Medical Assistant | MemorialCare - Dana Point, CA Location: 32585 Golden Lantern St, Ste E, Dana Point, CA 92629 Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Shift Job Overview MemorialCare is seeking a Medical Assistant to join its outpatient team in Dana Point, CA. The ideal candidate must have EPIC experience and at least one year of experience in a clinical setting. Responsibilities * Assist physicians with patient care, including vital signs, EKGs, and injections * Prepare exam rooms and equipment for procedures * Document patient interactions using EPIC * Perform front and back-office duties as needed * Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility protocols Requirements * Experience: 1+ year as a Medical Assistant (required) * EPIC experience: Required * First-time travelers: Accepted * Floating: Not required * On-call & Weekends: Not required Compensation & Benefits * Pay Rate: $15.00-$19.00/hour * Overtime: 1.5x after 12 hours/day or 60 hours/week * Holiday Pay: Includes New Year's Day, Labor Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Additional Details * RTO Policy: * Must be pre-approved and included at the time of submission * Vaccination Requirements: * COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required * Flu Vaccine: Required (Medical/Religious Exemptions Only) * Candidates must reside within 50-75 miles of the facility
