- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in embedded firmware development and board-level troubleshooting
- Proficiency in embedded C and/or Python on microcontroller platforms
- Hands-on experience with standard lab equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter, rework station)
- Ability to read and work from schematics; schematic reconstruction experience a plus but not required
- Strong communication skills and ability to document technical work clearly
- Develop and maintain embedded firmware for microcontroller-based systems
- Perform board-level troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and failure diagnosis on complex PCB assemblies
- Support redesign and modernization efforts on legacy hardware using current components
- Build and maintain automated test setups for diagnostics and board validation
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians on firmware programming and troubleshooting best practices
- Identify and drive process improvements to reduce costs, minimize downtime, and improve first-pass yield
