This involves promoting sales, delivering excellent customer service, **nurturing** inventory levels, and **balancing** expenses through purchase **supporting**. Additionally, the Branch Manager **fosters** facility and staff **alignment** to safety and regulatory standards, **empowering** team members in providing efficient customer service, maintaining good housekeeping, and **harmonizing** overall operational efficiency.* Provide professional customer service for all internal and external customers and call-in product, pricing, and technical inquiries.* **Support** the outside sales team in **nurturing** existing client relationships and **welcoming** new business opportunities.* **Support the flow of** accurate and timely daily processing of financial transactions, including cash reports, charge tickets, coding, costing, pricing, daily cash summaries, and bank deposits.* **Maintain** the accuracy of back order, open order, and Purchase Order (PO) expedite reports.* **Cultivate and refine** appropriate cylinder and hard goods inventory levels for the branch.* **Facilitate and lead** training for inside sales associates on product knowledge, company policies, processes, procedures, and safety, **ensuring the confidence that** all associates can **perform** essential branch functions.* Conduct periodic performance reviews for branch associates.* Act as a **bridge** between employees and management, **providing performance mentorship** and guidance in collaboration with Human Resources and senior management.## \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_## **Required Qualifications*** Bachelor's degree in a science, business, or related field. Four years of additional, relevant experience may substitute for the degree, provided a high school diploma is verified.* A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the sales and distribution of industrial gases, welding supplies, or comparable industrial products.* At least two (2) years of experience in a management role.* Ability to read and accurately interpret various documents, including safety rules, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), operating and maintenance instructions, and standard procedure manuals.* Demonstrated ability to foster a cooperative team environment and effectively collaborate with a diverse group of individuals from various backgrounds and with different personalities.* Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills, with the capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.**Preferred Qualifications*** Strong background in retail sales and customer service.* Working knowledge of welding applications and equipment.\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_**Benefits**We care about and support our Airgas Families.
