Main Duties & Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY:

UsingExpandable and panning tools, maintain proper inventory levels, and plan andcoordinate replenishment as needed. Coordinate receipt, inspection, stocking oftooling. Pull and distribute tooling to the proper locations and kits.Utilizing Tool Layouts and BOM's, pull kits for tool assemblies.
Essential Duties, Responsibilities andCompetencies:
MaintainPlanning levels for Tooling to ensure high availability for Production.
EstablishTooling requirements based on established reorder point levels driven byProduction requirements.
Generatereplenishment orders and work with Purchasing to place orders to Suppliers.Schedule orders to effectively manage Tooling spend. Follow up with Purchasingand Suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
Receives,unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment, and requisitions stock toreplenish inventory.
Proactively prepare,stage, and verify complete, production-ready kits for Production based onmachine schedule. Confirm that kits align with Tool Layouts, BOM's, and machineschedule.
Identifytooling gaps / risks and escalate proactively.
Re-evaluatesreturned kits to determine tools that are re-usable, need rework, or scrap.Coordinate the rework and scrap.
Restock kitswith reworked, re-usable, and/or new tooling to ensure availability whenneeded.
Track toolingshortages, breakage, and abnormal usage. Capture feedback from Headingproduction and Toolmakers regarding tool performance. Support correctiveactions with Engineering and Suppliers.
To ensureaccurate inventory balances, maintain records of tools issued and returned.
Store toolingin designated areas and ensure that proper inventory levels are maintained.
Preparesperiodic inventory or maintains perpetual inventory of tools and equipment.
Marks andidentifies tools as needed to maintain clear identification.
Responsiblefor periodic Cycle Counts.
Update metricsand prepare reports for Management as needed. Escalate issues timely toManagement.
Other dutiesas assigned by Manager.

Qualifications

OTHER COMPETENCIES:
LanguageSkills:
Abilityto read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenanceinstructions, and procedure manuals. Able to read and interpret drawings andbills of materials.

MathematicalSkills:
Abilityto add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using wholenumbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:
Abilityto apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished inwritten, oral, or diagram form. Abilityto deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardizedsituations. Able to interpret and understand results from manual and/orautomated testing equipment.

Educationand/or Experience:
Highschool diploma or general education degree (GED). Knowledge of calipers, gages, and othermeasuring instruments.

Physical Demands:
Whileperforming the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand;use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee isoccasionally required to walk; reach with hands and arms and kneel or crouch.The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Compensation

In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00.

Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
