Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced International Trade Attorney to join their team in New York City, NY. This role involves working with diverse business clients on complex international transactions and collaborating with attorneys across various practice areas. Responsibilities Advise clients on customs and import control matters, including tariff classification and valuation. Manage audits, forced labor compliance, and customs enforcement of antidumping and countervailing duty orders. Collaborate with a team of attorneys on international trade regulations and trade agreements. Engage in pro bono and public service matters. Requirements Portable book of business required. Minimum of 7 years of experience in customs and import control matters. Strong analytical and writing skills. Client-service approach with exceptional communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities. Education JD from an ABA-accredited law school. Certifications License to practice law. Skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team. Responsive and professional service.
