What Will You Do?

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel pipes used in cryogenic systems.

-Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine welding specifications.

-Ensure welds meet strict quality control and safety standards, particularly for cryogenic applications.

-Operate and maintain welding equipment, including torches, gas systems, and other related tools.

-Conduct pre-weld and post-weld inspections to ensure structural integrity and compliance with project requirements.

-Work collaboratively with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during fabrication.

-Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require...

• Fast-paced fabrication shop and on-site project settings.

• Exposure to varying temperatures, including cold environments associated with cryogenic systems.

• Strict adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and working in confined spaces for extended periods.

Your Experience Should Be...

-Minimum of 2 years of TIG welding experience, preferably in pipe welding with stainless steel.

-Ability to obtain and maintain TIG welding certifications (certifications encouraged).

-Strong understanding of welding processes, metallurgy, and the behavior of stainless steel in demanding applications.

-Proficiency with measuring instruments, such as calipers and micrometers, to verify dimensions and tolerances.

-Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Experience working with cryogenic systems or high-precision piping assemblies.

-Familiarity with orbital welding equipment and techniques.

-Knowledge of industry codes and standards, such as ASME and AWS.
