Scholarship Overview Medical Associates offers fully funded Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) scholarships to help talented individuals pursue education and join our team as CMAs after the program. Scholarship Inclusions Fully funded tuition for the Medical Assistant program at Northeast Iowa Community College (NICC) beginning in August 2026 through July 2027. Books and additional fees are included. AAMA certification exam fee paid after completion of the program. Full‑time job guaranteed at Medical Associates upon successful completion of the program. Role Overview CMA’s are one of the fastest‑growing healthcare professionals who perform administrative and clinical functions in a medical office setting. At Medical Associates, the CMA works alongside clinical staff to support our advanced practice providers and physicians. Program Details Medical Associates covers the cost of tuition, books, and exam fees not covered by federal, state, institutional, or private awards. NICC's Medical Assistant program runs from August 2026 through July 2027 and includes a six‑week on‑site clinical externship at Medical Associates Clinic in the summer of 2027. Upon completion of the program and certification exam, scholarship recipients start working as full‑time CMAs at Medical Associates. Job Responsibilities Assist physicians, providers, and co‑workers in coordinating and carrying outpatient care plans and services. Eligibility Requirements Education: High school diploma or GED by Spring 2026. NICC Medical Assistant Program: Must apply and be accepted into the NICC Medical Assistant program. Experience: Customer service or healthcare experience preferred. Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy required; involves extensive personal contact and sensitive matters.
