The Opportunity Montclair Pet Hospital is looking for a confident, people-focused Hospital Manager to lead the operational success of one of Oakland's most established companion animal hospitals. Working in partnership with the Clinical Director, you'll lead the day-to-day operations of the hospital, ensuring consistency, accountability, and operational excellence while supporting the team to deliver an exceptional client and patient experience. You'll play a key role in: Leading the operational performance of the hospital, including staffing, scheduling, workflows, and resource planning. Building, coaching, and developing a high-performing, engaged team. Creating a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Partnering with the Clinical Director to ensure seamless hospital operations and an outstanding standard of patient care. Driving compliance, quality standards, and operational consistency across the hospital. Enhancing the client experience while supporting the continued growth and success of the hospital. Experience We're Looking For Hospital Manager, Practice Manager, or similar operational leadership experience. A proven track record of building engaged, accountable, high-performing teams. Strong operational, financial, and organisational skills with experience managing hospital or practice performance. Experience driving compliance, quality standards, and operational processes. The ability to build trusted relationships with veterinarians, clinical leaders, and support teams. A collaborative, hands-on leadership style with excellent communication and coaching skills.
