Pay: $16.00 - $29.00/hr* Full time Shift may start between 8:00am - 11:00am Shift may start between 1:00pm - 4:00pm Role summary The main priority of Deli / Bakery associates is to prepare quality products for customers. They engage with customers at the service counter and move incoming merchandise out to the sales floor. Cleaning and maintaining proper food safety standards are critical to the team's success. What you’ll do Work in the deli and provide front‑line customer service. Work in the bakery and help customers celebrate special moments by preparing or decorating cakes. Work in the dry grocery department and help customers locate products. Across all fresh‑food departments, duties include detailed cleaning of shelves and storage, checking and maintaining temperature control, verifying dates, and disposing of lesser‑quality food products. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives and premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. What you’ll bring Help customers find the products they are looking for. Ensure high‑quality products are available in produce, deli, bakery, dairy, meat, and other departments. Pack ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and stock displays. Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food. Assist customers in ordering cakes, fulfilling deli orders, or finding the right produce.
