About the Role

CBRE is seeking a skilled Mobile Technician to support a portfolio of retail locations, ensuring HVAC and mechanical systems operate reliably to support store operations, customer comfort, and brand standards. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who thrives in a mobile, high-visibility environment and understands the importance of uptime in open-for-business facilities.

In this position, you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC, Electrical, and related building systems across multiple retail sites. You will respond to service calls with a sense of urgency, work independently, and coordinate with banking managers and operations teams to minimize disruption to customers and employees.

This is a Mobile/Service Technician type position position servicing client locations across the 5 Boroughs and surrounding area

What You'll Do:

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities.

• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.

• Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs. Manage and track completion.

• Support energy management by taking measures to ensure that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.

• Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

• Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.

• Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.

• Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.

• Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

What You'll Need:

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid Driver's License required.

• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.

• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

• Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is or $38.00 per hour and the maximum salary for the position is $48.00 per hour. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
