Contract | Days | Full-Time | 5x8 Hours (9:00–17:30) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT simulation and simulation of treatment sites including tumor localization
• Administer external beam therapy and IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy)
• Calculate radiation doses and apply beam modifying and positioning techniques including CBCT/kV/mV imaging, compensation filters, custom molds, custom shields, portal casting, and wedges
• Operate treatment planning and oncology information systems including Eclipse (Varian) and Pinnacle (Philips)
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols, isolation precautions, and PPE requirements
• Utilize lift/transfer devices and participate in Rapid Response/Code team procedures as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT (T) certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Active BLS certification required
• Active California Radiologic Technology (CRT) license required; must be in hand at time of submission, no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Radiation Therapy specialty
• Proficiency with Varis Vision/ARIA oncology information system
• Experience with adult acute care settings and radiation safety practices

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with B-Mode Acquisition and Targeting (BAT) techniques
• Familiarity with block cutting and portal casting procedures
