Medical AssistantThe Medical Assistant is responsible for supporting all clinical activities and providers in the provision of medical services. This position must be willing and able to adapt to different medical specialties with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.Key Responsibilities:Prepare patients for office visits (vitals, chief complaint, documentation in EMR)Assist with exams, medication administration, and point-of-care testingCoordinate referrals and gather info for medication pre-authorizationsMaintain accurate patient records and follow HIPAA guidelinesRestock exam rooms and manage clinical inventoryCommunicate effectively with patients, staff, and providersQualifications:One (1) year of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred OR completion of a Medical Assistant or equivalent training program preferred.Demonstrates basic efficiency in using electronic medical records, general computer technology, accurate typing, and proper grammar.Basic medical terminology preferred.Purpose of Clinic Resource Allocation Pool:To provide replacement staff for leaves of absence, call-ins, and vacation leaves.Provides flexible working options.To cover the critical openings in clinics that require specialized training
