Maintenance Repairer 1

Northshore Technical Community College is accepting applications for a full-time, classified Maintenance Repairer 1 housed at the Lacombe Campus.

One year of experience or training in the building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance or repair of mechanical equipment, or park operations and grounds maintenance; OR

Six semester hours in construction management, construction technology, or engineering, or any combination of these courses.

Job Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to buildings, facilities, furniture, and equipment, including basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and mechanical work.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary buildings by performing custodial duties such as cleaning offices, classrooms, restrooms, floors, windows, and common areas.
• Assist with grounds maintenance by mowing, trimming shrubs, watering plants, collecting litter, and maintaining sidewalks and outdoor areas.
• Operate, inspect, and perform basic maintenance on lawn equipment, small engines, vehicles, and other maintenance tools; assist with minor road and facility upkeep as needed.
• Receive and distribute incoming deliveries to the appropriate departments and perform other related duties as assigned.

Appointment Type: Promotional, open only to current permanent classified employees of Northshore Technical Community College.
