Accounts Payable

Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking an Accounts Payable specialist to join their team. As an Accounts Payable professional, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the accounting team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Appleton, WI

Pay Range: $20-$21 per hour

Shift: 7 am - 3 pm, Monday – Friday

What's the Job?

• Enter vendor invoices accurately and efficiently into the system
• Resolve invoice processing issues promptly to ensure smooth operations
• Communicate with vendors to address and resolve accounts payable discrepancies
• Book journal entries and verify the accuracy of payments
• Assist with projects and process improvements as assigned by supervisors

What's Needed?

• Associates's degree in accounting or a related field
• Previous accounts payable experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with accounting principles
• Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
