Business Analyst (FCCMS)

Location: Columbia, SC Hybrid (2 days onsite per week)

Interview Process: 1 round, Virtual/Online

Duration: 12 Months Employment Type: Contract Experience Required: 06+ Years

Candidate Location: Candidate must be a CURRENT SC resident. No relocation allowed.
Additional details: Some travel for onsite training to other sites within SC.

Project Scope:

The client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Project Lead to support the Family Court Case Management System (FCCMS) project within the Department of Social Services (DSS). The consultant will serve as a Functional Subject Matter Expert responsible for business analysis, system testing, defect troubleshooting, end-user training, and operational support activities during the maintenance and operations phase of the FCCMS project.

This role will work closely with project managers, technical teams, vendors, and county stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and support of the statewide Family Court Case Management System.

Key Responsibilities: Business Analysis

• Review functional designs producedby vendors.
• Analyze existing and proposedbusiness processes and system changes.
• Develop General System Design (GSD)documents for enhancements and new functionality.
• Create business process models andworkflow documentation.
• Assist with troubleshooting andresolution of complex functional defects.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Develop and execute test scenarios,test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform Component, Integration,Regression, Security, Performance, and Acceptance Testing.
• Record, validate, and analyze testresults.
• Identify, document, and reproducedefects for development teams.
• Participate in Incident ReviewMeetings and provide root cause analysis.
• Prepare and manage test data andinterface files for testing activities.
• Maintain test traceability againstrequirements and use cases.
• Review system test reports, trainingmaterials, and related deliverables.

Training & User Support

• Conduct end-user training sessionsfor county staff during system rollout.
• Create and maintain trainingmaterials, FAQs, workarounds, and user manuals.
• Develop computer-based training(CBT) videos and provide online training support.
• Provide Level 2 help desk supportfor complex application issues.
• Communicate announcements, updates,and workarounds to end users.

Additional Responsibilities

• Update application configurations asneeded.
• Support help desk ticket resolutionactivities.
• Create and maintain Adobe Acrobatforms and documents.
• Collaborate with stakeholders,technical teams, and project leadership.
• Travel within the State as needed toconduct onsite training sessions.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience preparing,documenting, and executing:
• Test plans
• Test scripts
• Test cases
• Test criteriafor IT systems projects
• 2+ years of experience using andsupporting Family Court Case Management System (FCCMS)
• 2+ years of experience with:
• ComponentTesting
• IntegrationTesting
• SecurityTesting
• PerformanceTesting
• RegressionTesting
• AcceptanceTesting
• Strong troubleshooting and defectmanagement experience
• Experience creating business processand system documentation
• Strong communication and leadershipskills

Preferred Skills:
•Experience documenting current and future-state business processes
•Previous judicial or court system experience
•State government project experience
•Experience with case management system implementations
•Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies



Education:

Bachelor's Degree (BS/BA) or equivalent work experience
