Industrial Mechanic

**Position Summary**Safely provide mechanical support to optimize plant availability and ensure the Terminal’s equipment is functioning properly, when needed. Along with mechanical support, must safely operate equipment for transshipment of coal from rail to vessel.**Target Responsibilities**Accept, embrace and promote the following Core Values of Core Natural Resources: Safety, Sustainability & Continuous ImprovementAbility to operate various mobile equipment such as: forklift, manual shift truck, JLG man-lift, and crane truckBe able to work in confined spaces, extreme weather conditions and heightsEnsures the safety of the work environment by following the Safe Work Instruction ProgramBe able to understand prints, schematics, manuals and drawings for the purpose of troubleshooting various equipmentAbility to work aloneBe proficient with oxygen/acetylene torch and weld at various angles and thickness of steelDesire to cross-train in operational positions such as, loaders, dozers, locomotives and cranesBe able to layout work and fabricate for minor repairs or equipment**Required Skills and Experience**Minimum 3 years of experience, including machine maintenanceMill-wright experience relative to bearing replacements and motor alignments, preferredHave good familiarity with various hand toolsBe experienced with rigging and working around cranes and hoistsHave good familiarity with various hand toolsSafety review of assigned work and surrounding areas prior to performing maintenance actions.Must have fabricating and mechanical abilitiesGood interpersonal and written communication skills; must be able to clearly express ideas and information throughout all levels of the companyBasic mathematical skillsStand for prolonged periods of time, often while using toolsMust be willing to work rotating shifts, weekends and overtimeYou should be proficient in:Heavy Equipment RepairMechanical Troubleshooting SkillsTroubleshooting Industrial Automation EquipmentMachine Safety InspectionsExperience in a Manufacturing EnvironmentMachines & technologies you'll use:Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)Conveyor Systems #J-18808-Ljbffr
