Solar PV Construction Site Manager

job summary:
Client is seeking a seasoned Senior Site Construction Manager with deep civil expertise to manage the final close-out of a live, utility-scale solar asset in eastern Georgia. Client needs a decisive leader to enforce contract compliance, uphold energized safety protocols, and drive site restoration through SWPPP closure. Project will run through the end of the year, with possible additional work in 2027.

responsibilities:

• Enforce subcontractor compliance regarding safety, schedule targets, and civil deliverables.

• Direct ground work safely around energized, power-generating arrays and inverter blocks.

• Manage final site grading, access road restoration, and retention basin completion.

• Coordinate hydroseeding and site stabilization to secure final SWPPP permit sign-offs.

• Execute civil punch-list elimination to achieve final owner and AHJ site handover.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of heavy civil construction management experience (3+ years in utility-scale solar).

• Proven track record of managing subcontractors and enforcing contract scope.

• Comprehensive expertise in SWPPP compliance, mass earthwork, and environmental remediation.

• Mandatory OSHA 30 certification with proven high-voltage / NFPA 70E site safety experience.

• Immediate availability for 100% on-site deployment through year-end.
