CLINIC REGISTERED NURSE

Clinic Staff NurseMississippi Sports Medicine is hiring a clinic staff nurse. This position will provide high-quality care to patients seen within the clinic, under the direct supervision of a physician and/or nurse practitioner.Experience / Educational Requirements:Education: Graduate of accredited school of nursingCertification / License Requirements: Must possess a valid Mississippi nursing licenseExperience: One-year clinical experience preferredEssential Functions:Prepares medicines according to physician requestMaintains competency in specific area of practicePerforms dressing changes and staple/suture removalRecords appropriate clinical notes and maintains patients' recordsSchedule and pre-certify patient surgeries and proceduresEffectively communicate with patientsOther nursing duties as requiredQualificationsBehaviors:Required: Team Player: Works well as a member of a groupLoyal: Shows firm and constant support to a causeDedicated: Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrityMotivations:Required: Self-Starter: Inspired to perform without outside helpGoal Completion: Inspired to perform well by the completion of tasksAbility to Make an Impact: Inspired to perform well by the ability to contribute to the success of a project or the organizationEducation: Preferred Associates or better in Nursing.
