Job Title

Registered Nurse – PICU

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting
• Manage patients with diagnoses including respiratory distress/failure, DKA, seizures, and pain management needs
• Perform and monitor special procedures including moderate sedation, drips, arterial lines, and central lines/CVP
• Float to NICU and Pediatrics units as needed within scope of practice
• Complete required orientation and annual compliance modules virtually

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of PICU nursing experience
• Valid Maryland or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Current BCLS certification required
• Current PALS certification required
• Ability to float to NICU and Pediatrics within scope of practice
• Professional references required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with arterial lines, central lines/CVP, and vasoactive drips
• Comfort managing complex pediatric diagnoses including DKA and seizure management
• First-time travelers welcome
