Memory Care Activity Assistant Versailles Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center | Versailles, Ohio Are you creative, compassionate, and someone who loves bringing joy to others? Versailles Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is looking for an enthusiastic Activity Assistant to join our Memory Care team! This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. As a Memory Care Activity Assistant, you’ll help create engaging, purposeful experiences that encourage socialization, movement, creativity, and connection. From music and games to crafts, celebrations, sensory activities, and one-on-one visits, you’ll help make each day special for our residents. What You’ll Do Assist with planning and leading daily activities specifically designed for Memory Care residents Encourage resident participation while adapting activities to individual abilities and interests Lead games, crafts, music, exercise, social events, and other engaging programs Provide meaningful one-on-one interaction and companionship Help decorate and prepare for holidays, special events, and resident celebrations Support a positive, welcoming, and engaging Memory Care environment Work closely with nursing and other team members to support residents’ overall quality of life Assist with documentation and activity-related responsibilities as needed What We’re Looking For A warm, patient, and compassionate personality Someone who is energetic, dependable, and creative Strong communication and interpersonal skills A genuine desire to work with seniors Ability to engage residents at different cognitive and physical ability levels Previous experience in activities, long-term care, assisted living, Memory Care, or dementia care is a plus, but we welcome candidates with the right personality and passion!
