Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and dietary restrictions for our residents and staff

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to safety and sanitation standards

• Collaborate with the Dietary Manager to plan and execute menu cycles, specials, and catering events

• Take inventory and order supplies and ingredients as needed

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and families, responding promptly to their needs and concerns

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred

• Previous experience in food service, preferably in a long-term care or senior living setting

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
