About the Role
The Company is seeking a Market President to join their team. This role is pivotal in leading and growing a talented team, with a primary focus on originating retail and commercial loans. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to increase loan origination and deposits within the assigned market, overseeing the performance of loan officers and other staff, and fostering strong relationships with key clients and referral partners. Staying abreast of market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to the company's growth and expansion needs are also key aspects of the position. Applicants for the Market President role at the company must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in originating retail and commercial loans within a banking setting, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is in-depth knowledge of banking products, services, and regulations. The role requires the ability to motivate and inspire a team, provide guidance and support to loan officers, and collaborate with credit and underwriting teams to ensure the timely and accurate processing of loans.
