JSG is seeking a well-rounded Systems Administrator for an onsite, temp to hire position for our growing hospitality/entertainment client in the Greater Woodland Hills area. Position Summary The System Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, support, and reliability of core IT infrastructure and end-user systems across corporate and remote offices. This role provides Tier 2/Tier 3 technical support while administering virtualization, cloud, identity, networking, collaboration, telephony, and endpoint environments. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with excellent customer service, problem-solving, documentation, and project support abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support, resolving escalated tickets within established SLAs.
• Administer VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi, vCenter, virtual machines, storage, patching, capacity, and performance.
• Manage Citrix Cloud / Virtual Apps and Desktops, including virtual desktops, published applications, machine catalogs, images, and user sessions.
• Administer Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, licensing, and shared mailboxes.
• Manage Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID, including users, groups, Group Policy, MFA, Conditional Access, and hybrid identity.
• Maintain Windows Server and select Linux environments across on-premises and cloud platforms, including Azure and AWS.
• Administer cloud-based telephony/UCaaS systems, including user provisioning, extensions, call routing, and troubleshooting.
• Support Cisco networking, including switches, routers, wireless, VPN, VLANs, and basic routing and troubleshooting.
• Manage Windows and macOS endpoints and mobile devices using Intune or comparable MDM/UEM platforms.
• Support onboarding/offboarding, equipment provisioning, software deployment, and access management.
• Perform system patching, vulnerability remediation, backup verification, and periodic recovery testing.
• Maintain IT asset, licensing, warranty, and lifecycle records.
• Support meeting-room technology, AV systems, and collaboration platforms.
• Coordinate with vendors and managed service providers on technical issues, procurement, and support.
• Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge-base articles.
• Partner with Security to support MFA, endpoint protection, encryption, access controls, and security standards.
• Participate in IT projects, infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, office moves, and technology rollouts.
• Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of professional system administration or infrastructure support experience beyond Tier 1 Help Desk.
• Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, Citrix Cloud, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Working knowledge of Azure, AWS, Windows Server, Linux, Cisco networking, VPN, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and Wi-Fi.
• Experience with endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Intune and endpoint security tools.
• Experience with cloud telephony/UCaaS platforms and backup/recovery solutions.
• Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and ITSM/ITIL processes.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, documentation, organizational, and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
• Ability to lift and move IT equipment as required.
• Relevant certifications such as VMware, Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, AWS, Citrix, or ITIL are preferred.
• Experience with audiovisual/meeting-room technology is a plus.

Pay Range: $40 - $50 per hour
