Senior Contracts Manager - Onsite | Denver, CO - Space Systems

An innovative space technology company developing next-generation mobility and robotics solutions for lunar exploration is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to join its growing team. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in supporting complex commercial and government programmes that are shaping the future of space exploration.

Working within a fast-paced, high-growth environment, you will lead contract management activities across customer, supplier, subcontractor and government agreements, ensuring compliance, mitigating risk and supporting strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review and implement a wide range of contractual documentation.
• Support the negotiation of contracts with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and government entities.
• Identify contractual risks and advise stakeholders on appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Lead contract negotiations to secure favourable commercial terms while maintaining strong business relationships.
• Coordinate contract execution and implementation activities across internal teams and external partners.
• Monitor contractual obligations and ensure ongoing compliance by all parties.
• Maintain accurate contract records and conduct regular reviews to ensure governance requirements are met.
• Support contract administration activities across multiple departments.
• Assist with government compliance requirements and audits.
• Provide contractual guidance to programme, engineering, finance and leadership teams.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies or a related discipline.
• Experience within aerospace, defence, advanced technology, robotics or other highly technical sectors.
• Significant experience in contract management, contract administration or commercial management within a highly regulated industry.
• Familiarity with government procurement regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Strong understanding of contract law, contract drafting, interpretation and execution.
• Proven experience negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Experience managing contracts involving government customers and regulated procurement environments.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong written, verbal and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
