Registered Nurse (RN) - Wound Care

Wound Care Specialist

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (No Holidays or Weekends)

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:

• Mandatory Wound Care Certification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in wound care
• American Heart Association BLS
• ACLS preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement care for patients with ostomies, draining wounds, fistulas, pressure ulcers, and both acute and chronic wounds.
• Provide comprehensive care and education to patients and their families/significant others regarding wound and ostomy care.
• Evaluate, select, and recommend supplies and equipment to optimize wound and ostomy care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
