Job Title: Case Picker / PIT Machine Operator $20 an hour

Job Description

Seeking experienced Case Pickers / PIT Machine Operators to support operations in a high-volume warehouse distribution environment. In this role, you will operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) including order pickers, reach trucks, and ride-on pallet jacks, while performing order picking and general warehouse responsibilities.

Responsibilities & Essential Skills

• Operate order pickers, reach trucks, stand-up forklifts, ride-on pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and manual pallet jacks safely & efficiently.
• Order picking using RF scanners and follow pick tickets or system-directed tasks
• Work across dry, chilled (32–45°F), and freezer (-10°F) environments while maintaining performance standards
• Handle general labor tasks such as palletizing, staging, and organizing products to support overall warehouse distribution operations.
• Follow all warehouse safety guidelines, traffic flows, and operational procedures
• Minimum 3+ months of recent powered industrial truck (PIT) experience within the last 12 months.
• Hands-on experience operating:
  • Order pickers
  • Reach trucks / reach lifts
  • Stand-up forklifts
  • Ride-on or electric pallet jacks
• Ability to pass E-Verify employment requirements

Work Environment

This position is based in warehouse settings that include dry storage areas, chill environments typically ranging from 32–45°F, and freezer areas around -10°F. Operators must be fully willing and able to work in all temperature zones as needed. The work environment is a busy, high-volume distribution facility where powered industrial trucks such as order pickers, reach trucks, stand-up forklifts, ride-on pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and manual pallet jacks are used regularly. RF scanners and related warehouse technology support order picking and inventory tasks. Schedules vary by department and by the specific machines operated, so flexibility is important. The setting emphasizes safety, productivity, and professional conduct at all times.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clifton, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Clifton,NJ.
