Pharmacy Tech II

Our client, a Retail Pharmacy company, is looking for a Pharmacy Tech II for their San Antonio, TX/ Phoenix, AZ/ Wilkes Barre, PA/Remote location.

Responsibilities:

• Collects and inputs prescription information, ensuring adherence to pharmacy protocols and legal requirements.
• Ensures compliance with pharmacy regulations, laws, and guidelines, including patient confidentiality, controlled substance regulations, and prescription labeling requirements.
• Prioritizes tasks, manages customer queues, and communicates effectively with other pharmacy personnel to ensure efficient and timely service.
• As a Pharmacy Technician in a growing segment of healthcare, home infusion services, you will work with cutting edge technology compounding specialized and complex therapies that are administered to patients in their homes.
• Product preparation, compounding sterile products, and maintaining the pharmacy clean room suite to 797 requirements.
• Documentation of IV admixture and clean room suite sterility testing.
• Complete order entry and refills under the supervision of the pharmacist.
• Inventory management and storage, complete appropriate documentation, such as labels, log sheets and reports.
• Participate in on call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs.

Requirements:

• Have approximately 3- months of pharmacy technician experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT)-If required by state
• Verifyable High School Diploma or GED Required
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
• Eligible for state registration, certification, or licensure in accordance with state regulations.
• Proficient in basic computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Excellent written and verbal customer service skills.
• Strong mathematical and calculation skills.
• Demonstrated accuracy and efficiency in data entry, with a focus on maintaining 100% data entry quality
• 3 Months Pharmacy Experience. Please make sure candidates know this is 100% data entry.
