Our client, a Retail Pharmacy company, is looking for a Pharmacy Tech II for their San Antonio, TX/ Phoenix, AZ/ Wilkes Barre, PA/Remote location.
Responsibilities:
- Collects and inputs prescription information, ensuring adherence to pharmacy protocols and legal requirements.
- Ensures compliance with pharmacy regulations, laws, and guidelines, including patient confidentiality, controlled substance regulations, and prescription labeling requirements.
- Prioritizes tasks, manages customer queues, and communicates effectively with other pharmacy personnel to ensure efficient and timely service.
- As a Pharmacy Technician in a growing segment of healthcare, home infusion services, you will work with cutting edge technology compounding specialized and complex therapies that are administered to patients in their homes.
- Product preparation, compounding sterile products, and maintaining the pharmacy clean room suite to 797 requirements.
- Documentation of IV admixture and clean room suite sterility testing.
- Complete order entry and refills under the supervision of the pharmacist.
- Inventory management and storage, complete appropriate documentation, such as labels, log sheets and reports.
- Participate in on call rotation as indicated by staffing and business needs.
Requirements:
- Have approximately 3- months of pharmacy technician experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Working knowledge of problem solving and decision making skills
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT)-If required by state
- Verifyable High School Diploma or GED Required
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification.
- Eligible for state registration, certification, or licensure in accordance with state regulations.
- Proficient in basic computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Excellent written and verbal customer service skills.
- Strong mathematical and calculation skills.
- Demonstrated accuracy and efficiency in data entry, with a focus on maintaining 100% data entry quality
- 3 Months Pharmacy Experience. Please make sure candidates know this is 100% data entry.
