Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Employing radiographic and CT methodologies to achieve precise diagnostic images for physician use
- Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate accurate evaluation
- Ensuring proper patient positioning and conducting equipment calibrations for optimal imaging outcomes
- Adhering strictly to radiation safety protocols to protect patients and colleagues alike
- Maintaining meticulous records and documentation, including imaging logs and equipment upkeep
- Cultivating a caring and supportive experience for patients throughout the imaging process
- Contributing to a safe, organized, and efficient environment in the imaging suite
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred
- Completion of an accredited radiology training program
- ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography) is needed
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or the ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Strong understanding of diagnostic imaging principles and safety regulations
- Exceptional communication abilities with both patients and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting while showcasing flexibility to meet changing demands
- A meticulous eye for detail paired with a deep sense of accountability
- Comfortable using technology and software related to imaging, including PACS and RIS
