Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
• For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
• Excellent critical thinking and knowledge of central processing and instrumentation required
• Wide current experience with ortho, neuro, vascular, and related surgical specialties required

Assignment Details:

• 36-40 hours per week
• Approximately every 2nd or 3rd weekend as a call weekend
• 1-2 call shifts per week
• 30-minute response time required for all call
• Possible holiday call rotation may be required
• Required to float to General OR and/or the Outpatient Surgery Center based on department needs and staffing
