The Fortitude Team is hiring a Personal Financial Advisor to help individuals and families make informed decisions about their financial future. This role combines financial education, relationship building, and ongoing client support.

You’ll get to know each client’s priorities, explain available options, and help them consider strategies related to financial protection, retirement, and wealth accumulation. Clear communication and consistent follow-through are central to the position.

Candidates transitioning from other industries are welcome. Structured training and mentorship will help you develop your industry knowledge and client service skills. Required licensing must be completed before performing activities that require it.

This is a remote, independent-contractor opportunity with flexible part-time and full-time pathways.

Compensation:

$80,000-$90,000

Responsibilities:

• Guide client conversations to gather information about financial priorities, current concerns, and long-term goals

• Explain financial concepts and relevant options in understandable terms within the scope of your training and licensing

• Support clients as they evaluate strategies for retirement, financial protection, and wealth accumulation

• Schedule follow-up conversations to review changing needs and address client questions

• Keep client records and meeting documentation organized and accurate

• Expand your professional network through community connections, outreach, and referrals

• Attend weekly coaching and training sessions to strengthen your knowledge and communication skills

• Complete licensing, continuing education, and applicable company and industry compliance requirements

Qualifications:

• Ability to listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and communicate clearly

• Commitment to providing dependable service and building client trust

• Willingness to learn financial concepts and apply feedback from mentors

• Initiative to develop professional relationships and manage your own workload

• Organization and follow-through when coordinating meetings and client follow-up

• Comfort using virtual meeting tools and working independently

• Eligibility and willingness to obtain the professional licenses required for the role

• Previous experience working with customers, clients, students, or patients is helpful

• Financial services experience is welcome but not required
