Sales Estimator - Cold Storage & Commercial Refrigeration

Control Air Refrigeration LLC is seeking a motivated Sales Estimator to join our team in the New Caney/Houston, Texas area. We are looking for someone who can do more than prepare estimates. The ideal candidate will be able to identify new opportunities, build customer relationships, prepare accurate estimates, follow up on proposals, and help close profitable projects. Responsibilities: Develop relationships with general contractors, business owners, facility managers, suppliers, and other industry contacts Generate and pursue new commercial refrigeration and cold-storage opportunities Review construction drawings, specifications, and customer requirements Perform material and labor takeoffs Obtain pricing from suppliers and subcontractors Prepare professional estimates, proposals, and bid packages Consistently follow up on submitted proposals and active leads Negotiate pricing and help close profitable projects Coordinate awarded-project handoff with management and field operations Maintain organized records of leads, proposals, follow-ups, and awarded projects Our Projects Include: Walk-in coolers and freezers Cold-storage warehouses Insulated metal panel systems Cooler and freezer doors Repairs, renovations, and equipment replacements Qualifications Experience in cold storage, commercial refrigeration, insulated metal panels, HVAC, construction estimating, sales, or a related field Ability to read construction drawings and specifications Experience with material and labor takeoffs Strong sales, communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills Proficiency with Excel; Bluebeam experience is a plus Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented Valid driver's license Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Competitive base pay + uncapped commission Higher commission potential for self-generated business Opportunity to earn based on sales performance and profitable projects Full-time, long-term opportunity with room for growth This is not strictly a desk-estimating position.
