Assistant, Escrow

Job Overview Typical level: Intermediate. The role supports the Escrow Department by assisting with customer service and administrative duties related to escrow closings, primarily residential transactions. The assistant may provide general support for a team or partner with an escrow officer. Responsibilities Performs a wide range of administrative duties to gather information and assist in the escrow process. Opens orders, inputs closing statement information, prepares documents for closing, and handles disbursement and follow up of all escrow transactions. Communicates requirements and other information to clients. Interprets various agreements related to closing and prepares all documents required for transactions. Works on moderately complex problems requiring review of multiple factors. Researches and obtains information for a wide range of complex data. Exercises judgment within defined procedures to determine appropriate action and may make recommendations to processes. Qualifications Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Experience: 2+ years of escrow related experience. Skills: Customer service skills, problem solving, strong organizational skills, knowledge of MS Office suite, excellent verbal/written communication, professionalism, positive service attitude, strong detail orientation. Compensation Pay Range: $18.82 - $23.43 per hour (base). Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
