Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location: New Haven & Valley, Connecticut
Compensation: $55–$65 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Per Diem
Service Area: New Haven and surrounding Valley communities

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our growing team and provide high-quality therapy services to clients throughout the New Haven and Valley areas of Connecticut .

This is an excellent opportunity for an OT who values clinical independence, meaningful patient relationships, flexible scheduling, and community-based care .

What You'll Do

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Provide occupational therapy services based on each patient's clinical needs and goals.

• Help patients improve independence with activities of daily living, mobility, safety, and functional skills.

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, care managers, and other healthcare professionals.

• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and organizational requirements.

• Travel throughout the assigned New Haven and Valley service area as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Current and valid Connecticut Occupational Therapist license .

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

• Current CPR/BLS certification, as required.

• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.

• Previous home health, community-based, outpatient, or geriatric experience is a plus.

• Reliable transportation for community-based assignments.
