Clinical Specialist, CST - Palo Alto, CA

Medtronic seeks a Clinical Specialist to provide technical and clinical support for neurosurgery and robotic-assisted surgery products across a regional territory. The field-based role involves customer training, system maintenance, procedural support, and collaboration with internal teams to drive adoption of navigation and robotics technologies.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate on-site installations and system implementations with customers and internal teams
- Provide technical assistance during technology-enabled surgical procedures
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade system hardware and software; perform preventative maintenance
- Train physicians, surgeons, and hospital staff on navigation, robotics, and imaging technologies
- Document customer concerns, file reports, and serve as primary liaison for technical support issues
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED plus 6+ years clinical, medical sales, or medical imaging/navigation/robotics experience
- Associate's degree plus 4+ years relevant clinical or medical device experience
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within and outside territory
- Knowledge of UNIX/LINUX commands and medical device software/hardware systems
- Strong customer relationship and technical communication skills
- Ability to work within quality systems and regulatory compliance frameworks
